Tarrant County Kids (TCK) is an after-school, before-school, and summer child care service designed to help working families in Tarrant County.

Who We Are

Tarrant County Kids is a trusted child care program serving working families across Tarrant County. Since 1983, we have partnered with local school districts to provide safe, affordable, and engaging care for children in a school based setting. Our programs are designed to support children during the hours outside the classroom, when families need dependable care and children benefit most from structure, connection, and enrichment.

As part of the YouthVantage Alliance, home also to Girls Inc. of Tarrant County and Vantage Point, we are committed to strengthening families and communities by meeting real needs with care, consistency, and purpose. Every day, our staff creates welcoming environments where children can learn, grow, and feel supported.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide high quality, affordable out-of-school time care that supports the academic success, social development, and overall well-being of children while giving families peace of mind. Through strong school partnerships, caring staff, and structured programs, we help children build confidence, develop positive relationships, and stay engaged in learning beyond the school day.

We believe that dependable child care is essential to strong families and thriving communities, and we are committed to ensuring children have access to safe spaces that nurture growth, responsibility, and belonging.

Our Impact

For over four decades, Tarrant County Kids has supported thousands of children and families by delivering reliable before-school and after-school care, summer programs, and holiday camps in communities across Tarrant County. By operating directly on school campuses, we create continuity between the school day and out of school time, helping children feel secure while they receive homework support, enrichment activities, and social emotional learning.

Our impact is measured not only in the services we provide, but in the stability we offer families, the confidence we build in children, and the stronger communities that result when kids have safe, supportive places to grow.
